Teresa-Investigator and Board Secretary
I have been interested in the paranormal for as long as I can remember, and since having some experiences as an adult, started my own journey for answers. API has been such a blessing for me, in discovering that there is more to "life" than what we see day-to-day. I started this paranormal journey looking for answers for myself.... what I found along the way was the satisfaction that comes from helping people who didn't know where to go for help and answers.
Tom - Investigator and Director
I grew up in San Francisco CA, raised as a Roman Catholic. I am retired US Army, and retired from the state of CA. I was aware of good and evil at an early age. There were many unexplained events and feelings in my life as a child that terrified me. As I got older the curiosity got the better of me so I have been seeking answers for years through paranormal investigations. I am proud to be a member of API the best paranormal investigative team in CA. Our goal is to help others understand what we have learned over the years and help our clients feel comfortable in their homes and businesses. Today the Paranormal simply fascinates me to no end. There is no better feeling than having a client thank you for helping them to understand and feel safe and happy in their home or business.
Lourdes - Investigator
I am a true believer that there is life after death, something more that is beyond all understanding. My first paranormal memory was at the age of 6. I remember seeing apparitions in my house, walking around from room to room as if they belonged there. I never felt any fear and life just went on as usual. As I got older, I began communicating with people who had passed on, some who were related and others who were not. I would receive messages for people and found that by delivering those messages I was bringing comfort and closure. With API, I am able to be myself. With the support of the group, I am able to accept my gift and work closely with people who are as equally dedicated to the paranormal world as myself.
Dave- Investigator and Technology Officer
Dave has studied the paranormal since he was a child. He has always been fascinated with ghosts and paranormal experiences. He met API on an investigation of the USS Hornet in 2008 and has been a member ever since. Dave serves API primarily as a Debunker and a member of the Board. Dave works at a computer company and is very interested in paranormal technology.
Jeryl - Investigator
I’ve been interested in the paranormal for as long as I can remember. I had a few experiences when I was growing up, as well as some when I was an adult. I became convinced in 2007 when I moved into my old home. I’ve experienced quite a bit of activity. I live in Marysville, CA where paranormal activity is common. I did a lot of research and luckily got in touch with API. After speaking with a couple of members and knowing their ethics in this field, I was anxious to become a member and help those who have questions and need support and to have fun doing it.

John- Investigator and Public Relations/Marketing Officer
I have an eclectic background, including two branches of military, undercover surveillance and investigations, teaching, MRI physics, public relations and professional writing/editing. My education includes Degrees in Criminal Justice, Journalism, Earth and Space Science, and Graduate Level Studies in Psychology.
I experienced paranormal phenomena early in life, in a home that sat on ground with an “interesting” history. I exhibited discernment, clairaudience, and other traits there, even as a child, and have strived to understand them ever since.
While stationed in Hawaii… a very “active” place, supernaturally speaking, I experienced far too many events and encounters to dismiss or avoid, and I’ve been studying the paranormal ever since. My goals are to examine and explain cases where scientific, objective evidence can be found, but to first and foremost help people caught up in these events and phenomena in every way possible. I am grateful and excited to be a part of this highly respected and experienced Team.
My interest in exploring the paranormal world and in helping others are the reasons I joined this paranormal investigative team. We investigate reported phenomena in hopes of discovering the cause in order to understand and offer an explanation to our clients. It is very gratifying to be able to help and empower our clients to regain the comfort and security they should feel in their homes and businesses.
Rose- Investigator and Board Treasurer
I had a few visits from an apparition when I was 10 yrs. old. Although frightened, I couldn't stop thinking about it and about eight years ago I became a paranormal investigator to pursue answers. Since then I have had the opportunity to travel and investigate many interesting places with many paranormal experiences. I have learned a lot and studied different ideas from notable leaders in the paranormal community. But my true interest in investigating is to help those who are having activity in their homes or businesses. There is a great satisfaction in finding answers and putting their fears at rest. I am proud to be a member of API and I hope to bring my skills as an investigator to the team as well as learn from other team members.
Steve - Investigator
I had my first paranormal experiences as a young child which opened my mind to a realm of possibilities. In the last few years I have gained more of an interest in the paranormal and I have witnessed quite a few strange occurrences. I first met the API team at Ghost Rush in 2013 and instantly became hooked. I have done some investigating on my own but I am now proud and excited to be an official member of this great team.
