The API team arrived shortly after 9pm to the home for an initial interview and assessment for services. Upon
entry to the home, Michael noted an “unusual” feeling from the home. The API team met the mother and
daughter, and interviewed them about the reasons for requesting services from API.
The mother and daughter reported that the daughter was being attacked and tormented by something in the
home. The daughter was reported to being attacked by means of scratches that would appear on her body while
she was sleeping in her room. The mother reported that she knew something was attacking her daughter, because
she would hear her screaming and calling out in the middle of the night. The mother also reported hearing sounds
throughout the house in the evening, and had dreams where spirits would enter and torment her. The mother
added that she and her daughter have been experiencing this problem for several months, when they were initially
living in the Chico area. The mother and daughter believe whatever was tormenting them followed them from the
Chico area to Woodland. Information was gathered regarding the history of incidents from this spirit, and what
events were noted from the family. The mother provided EVP recordings from a digital tape player which was
recorded onto her computer.
After a lengthy interview with the family, Sabrina focused her time individually with the mother, and then the
daughter. Sabrina engaged in interviews with the mother and the daughter separately, focusing on exercises and
strategies they could use to separate themselves from the negative behaviors of what they considered to be
tormenting them.
During this time, Dave, and Michael focused on exploring the home, assessing any unusual activities via digital
cameras and visual observations. The API team concluded their initial assessment by midnight.
The API team made preparations for the continuation of the investigation.

The API team arrived at the home shortly after 8:30pm. The purpose of this visit was to perform further
assessment of the home and the family members. At this visit, the API team met the mother’s husband, who was
also interviewed for purposes of the investigation.
Dave and Michael were continuing their observation of the home from the inside and the outside. Michael was
able to capture several pictures using a digital camera of orbs outside the home, specifically around the neighbor’s
rooftop.
The team regrouped and provided the family with information about what was observed and discovered. At this
point, the team made plans to return to the home to complete a more extensive investigation.

The API team was contacted by the mother, who reported that the daughter was being scratched at a higher
rate than usual, and that the daughter was scratched in the middle of a shopping trip at Wall-mart. Because of the
severity of the concern for the daughter’s welfare, the team decided to plan an immediate investigation to support
the family.
The team arrived at the home shortly after 8pm to meet with the family. At the home were the mother and her
husband, the daughter, and a family friend who observed several unusual occurrences with the family over the past
few weeks. The team interviewed the family members, and then focused their attention on the daughter, who
shared with the team the scratches she recently had. After the interviews, Dave set up video equipment in the
hallway near the daughter’s room to attempt to capture any unusual occurrences. The daughter sat in her
bedroom, alone initially, then with Dave, to attempt to facilitate an occurrence. After approximately one hour of
investigating the daughter’s room, the team and family decided to focus on the mother’s room. During this period,
the daughter sat by herself in the room, and became visibly upset after several minutes. She reported feeling
tormented by the spirits in the room. The mother then sat in the room by herself, then with Michael, to attempt to
facilitate an occurrence. During this time, Dave was investigating the other rooms and the outside of the home.
After this period of the investigation, an API member, the mother’s husband, the daughter, and the family friend
were in the kitchen area listening to EVPs captured by the father using his digital recorder. It was during this
period where the daughter reported being scratched on her back. The daughter lifted her shirt to show a freshly
made scratch on her lower back. The team and the family gathered in the kitchen area and communicated with the
daughter about what happened. The daughter reported standing with the other individuals, when she felt a pain
on her lower back. She then realized it was a scratch. An API member noted that he did not observe anyone
scratching her, including the daughter.
Shortly after, the team was listening to more EVPs captured by the mother’s husband. Michael was sitting on a
chair next to the daughter, who was standing. After a short period, the daughter made a remark that her arm was
hurting. She lifted her shirt, where Michael observed several scratches forming on her left upper arm. Michael
took several photos of the scratches. He also noted that he was in visual sight of the daughter, and did not
observe her reaching for her arm prior to this occurrence.
The team eventually concluded their investigation, and made plans
to return to the home to complete the investigation.

The API team met with the family shortly after 8:30pm at their home. The focus of this meeting was for Dave to
conduct a Native American Ritual to help the family end the torment and abuse against them. The API team
interviewed the mother and the daughter, and explained what they concluded and what they were planning to do.
Prior to this meeting, Dave asked the daughter to purchase a small pouch for the purposes of the ritual Dave
would be performing.
The team asked the family to remain in the living room while they went into the daughter’s bedroom. At this time,
Dave performed the ritual to cleanse the home, and to support the family from the negative behaviors of whatever
was harming the family. Dave also prepared the pouch by inserting several materials used for the ritual.
The team left the room, and met with the family in the living room. Dave provided the daughter with the pouch, and
explained to her the purpose of keeping it with her as a means of protection and positive strength against
negative spirits and events. Dave and the team then continued to perform the ritual throughout the home. Once
Dave was completed, the team reconvened with the family in the living room.
Dave explained to the mother and daughter that they need to ignore whatever has been tormenting them all this
time, and to focus on the positive things they have, including their relationship. Dave discussed that if they
continue to focus on this spirit, the spirit will continue to remain in the home. If they ignored it, the spirit will
eventually leave. Dave discussed that they need to focus on ignoring the spirit to allow it to leave. Dave added
that he will contact the family in a month to assess the progress of the family, and if further intervention would be
necessary.
The team left the home at approximately 10pm.
