crew, and the documentary film crew from a College in Ventura, CA -
the ones who made this investigation possible!

Information that prompted investigation:
Investigation #1 of Woodland Opera House
This is our second investigation at this location, but our first time being able to meet needed requirements for an
overnight investigation.  The documentary film crew working with us are film students and able to provide the proper
insurance required for safety of this location at night, especially with the theater's history of injuries.

This visit was to investigate multiple reports over the years of footsteps being heard, voices, and apparitions seen.  A
piano moved across the floor by itself.  Also, a fireman (William Porter) perished here in a fire that destroyed most of
the town in 1892.  After the first investigation, API uncovered a article written by Nancy Rice about Mr. Porter.

The Investigation:
The team arrived at 10:30pm for an 11:00pm investigation to follow the performance of "Fiddler on the Roof".
We were again greeted warmly an given a tour to be shown how to keep ourselves safe.

After setting up, the team used temperature, EMF, and photography to scan the entire main level.  Near the side door,
isle way close to the stage and rear, and rear exit showed spikes in EMF with corresponding possible orbs at the same
time.  The orb or orbs occurred with
digital EMF spikes of 2.0 and when the EMF dropped back 0.2-0.4 the orbs
were gone.
The Trifield EMF detector had the same results as the digital EMF.  Cold breezes also came with the
orbs, but were not as strong until later when we were sure vents were not a possible cause.  Different team members
spent time with Sunol teaching her the equipment and documenting her false positives near electrical outlets with the
digital EMF.  And documenting, with photography, possible mid air orbs and spikes near the rear and stage floor level
of the opera house.

At midnight half the team went to the upper level and half moved to the basement.  The first EVP (electronic voice
phemomena) was conducted next to the piano upstairs.  While recording, Michelle made note of flecks of green and red
in Ann's eyes during both the EVP and dowsing session.

The next session was on the opera house balcony after temperature and EMF readings were completed.  Air vents
were located, etc.  A location furthest form the vents was chosen for the 3minute EVP session.  During a documentary
video taped dowsing session, green and pinkish orbs interact with Ann's dowsing rods.  There is a cold spot that
bounced back and forth between Ann and a film crew member.  At one point Ann became overwhelmed by the number
of spirits present and she tells them, "Only one at a time please".  On the video you can see several orbs zipping all over
her leave and only one large green one remains buzzing her right ear.  Exactly were she was complaining of a cold draft.
The
EVP reveals answers to both light hearted and tough questions.

By now it's almost 3:00am and all are growing very tired.  However, the upstairs team ventures to the basement.  The
entire area was cold with no EMF spikes, until after the EVP session concludes and the dowsing session begins.  At
this point, high spikes occur and
photography reveals a black shadow as Ann state's that a man is standing to her left
staring at her.  The session is ended shortly thereafter.  A video recorder left running in that basement did not reveal
anything unexplainable.

At 4:00am Dave called a wrap and the two film crews began packing up.

Research highlights:
At various spots EMF elevations were noted.  A rapidly moving cold spot went from person to person on the balcony
and basement.  Photographs revealed a significant increase in orbs at times of EMF spikes.  Giving the effect of snow
inside, similar to photographs obtained over the years and on our prior investigation.  Video caught a bright green orb
the size of an ear and several pinkish smaller orbs during an upstairs dowsing session.
