| Location: Woodland Opera House, Woodland, CA Members present: Dave, Ann, Sabrina, Janelle, Mike, and the California Haunts television crew Information that prompted investigation: This was to investigate multiple reports over years of footsteps being heard, voices, and apparitions seen. A piano moved across the floor by itself. Various photographs at times show an appearance of snow inside. There is a history of injuries in the theater. Also, a fireman died here in a fire that destroyed much of the building. The Investigation: The team arrived at 12:30 pm and set up our equipment. While we stopped at the door to get our equipment ready, something blue caught my attention. Nobody had entered auditorium yet. After reviewing my photographs, an apparition of a woman is seen. Dave directed the team to precede two the second floor. At the stairwell (and throughout the investigation) several members became nauseated when going upstairs and upstairs. Sabrina sat next to a piano and began to make contact with a lady performer from the early 1900’s. At 1:00 pm while filming, an object of unknown origin hit and rolled on the wooden floor next to my right side. There was nothing found after much time searching for what could have fallen. Photographs at this time gave the appearance of snow. Also during this time; five different people, with different cameras and video recorders attempted to take photographs standing next to the piano. Each image turned out blurry. It did not matter the direction of the picture. After eight attempts, one picture was obtained. Feeling very tired, the team took a break. Sabrina and Ann went downstairs and ventured backstage. We found the stairs to the basement and felt something almost pushing us down the stairs. But this was to keep us moving, not to hurt us. We then found the picture of the fireman, Mr. William Porter, killed in 1982. We explored the dressing rooms and began feeling a strange cold spot jet past us. Upon returning from break, the team joined us and they experienced the odd cold sphere. Photographs revealed something moving around the whole group near the floor. During the EVP session nothing was found. EMF spiked to 3.4 at the bottom and middle stairwell. While noting this Ann became very nauseated and hot. Upstairs a video camera was set up in total darkness aimed at a motion sensor that lights up. Nothing disturbed the sensor on film. After a break, Sabrina and Ann went upstairs for an EVP session. As Sabrina attempted to begin the session the recorder turned itself off. During the session, Sabrina asked, “How many of you are there here?” On the recorder below human range, “Many” is heard in a woman’s accented voice. Charlotte from California Haunts, moved to the balcony with Ann. Ann stepped out and Charlotte asked, “Will you show yourself for me?” Upon review of the photograph, she found a brilliant orange light. It was not there on the subsequent photographs. By this time the investigation is near its end. We moved downstairs to the main auditorium. In walking down the stairs another very large cold area stopped me. EMF was elevated to 2.2. Ann continued to the auditorium with Sabrina and Charlotte. The entire team met us there. At the beginning of the session every person present felt something. None of us can accurately describe the feeling. Photographs by Mike demonstrated many orbs, some in motion. Some of the orbs were green, blue, orange, white, and even a red one. During the EVP session, Sabrina asked,”Was the fire an accident?” On EVP, “No it wasn’t” is heard by a males voice. EMF was steady at 0.0 – 0.2. The team wrapped up at 3:30 pm. The results will be presented on April 15, 2006 to the theater manager. Research highlights: The Woodland Opera House was built in 1885. There was a large fire in Woodland in 1892, involving the Woodland Opera House. The full apparition while three of us stood in the doorway was very impressive on film. Only a blue flash caught my eye, prompting the photograph. During an EVP session, Sabrina asked,”Was the fire an accident?” On EVP, “No it wasn’t” is heard. At various spots EMF spherical elevations were noted. A rapidly moving cold spot went from person to person in the basement. While upstairs filming, everyone heard an object hit the wooden floor and roll. Nothing fell. Photographs revealed a significant increase in orbs. Giving the effect of snow inside, similar to photographs obtained over the years. |

| Through the eyes of Charlotte Arrived at noon and a little later began taking digital pictures of theater seating area and at Ann's direction, took pictures of certain spots in the room which resulted in orbs being caught on the digital card. A little later, we made our way upstairs to the lounge area where Sabrina was in contact with an actress and other entities. At the bottom of the stairs on first floor, I noticed a thickness in the air at the right. Once upstairs, I took still photographs of Sabrina while she was in contact with the spirits. At one point, she walked by me and said there were three people there, I asked her where and she said inside of her. A minute later, I heard something drop on the floor to might. It kind of sounded like a bead falling and then rolling. Upon investigation, I found no object that would have rolled. There were pieces of plaster on the floor-probably from the rain seeping through. I picked up a piece of the plaster and threw it to the ground, a similar sound was heard but the plaster did not roll off. Mike got his tripod and started hitting the wall in the space where the plaster appeared to have chipped. None fell. He determined that there would have to be pressure placed on the wall in order for the plaster to have fallen. (I have seen plaster fall in my own home, but only during a rain storm.) We were never able to determine what had dropped. I took pictures in the area and a yellowish light appeared on a wall to the left of the plaster. I also took pictures while Sabrina was talking with the actress and one show some ecto mist? In front of Sabrina was a white stream. At some point Ann went out onto the balcony and I followed. When she left me up there, I asked the actress to show herself to my camera and pointing it at a window, a light appeared to flow over the window. There is no way the light came from the stage. My video camera did pretty well although in the basement where Sabrina was in contact with at least seven spirits, I did experience some blurring. I also shot a still photo of a stream of ecto plasm that sort of wrapped its way around the front of Sabrina. At about 3:30, I followed Ann upstairs to the balcony once again. On this trip, I could not catch my breath once I reached the top-felt a pressure or something like I was suffocating. Before we left the opera house, I managed to get a picture of an orb in motion and also picked up what appeared to be a green fog which moved around the seats. After leaving, we went to Ludy's. About 15 minutes after sitting down, I became exhausted. The exhaustion lasted through the rest of Sunday and all day Monday. Charlotte – California Haunts Film Crew |
