The Investigation:
The team arrived at 6:00pm for dinner.  The temperature is 74 degrees and clear outside.  Michelle, Erin,
and Ann noticed a flash of white light out of the corner of their eyes.  Several team members felt a tingling
in their legs too in the same location.  The lights also flickered during this time.  Interviews with Dave
followed a fantastic dinner.  During the interviews from 8-10pm Ann walked the outside as the sensitive for
the night without event.  The rest of the team split into 2 groups and took temperature readings, EMF,
and pictures.  There were four areas of elevated EMF spikes and one of temperature elevation.  EMF
spiked in the bar area, the women’s bathroom, a table near the mine entrance, and by the kitchen entrance.

At 09:00 the first EVP session was conducted at a table near the mine entrance and did not produce
anything audible.  EMF did spike as high as 5 with a room baseline of 0.0 - 0.5.

As the restaurant was closing Michelle filmed the teams taking readings.  At 9:50 she was touched on the
back of her left shoulder, but nobody was behind her.  She was standing with her back to a wall.  She was
not threatened by this and continued to film without interruption.

At 10:09pm Janelle and Erin were taking temperature readings near the women’s restroom and found an
area nine degrees warmer than any other spot in the bar.

While they explored the bar, Ann crawled up a ladder to the roof.  Another EVP session was conducted
here.  External sounds were too loud, to render any of this recordings here legitimate.  But due to a strong
feeling, Ann asked Dave to return to the exact same location at midnight to repeat a session.

It’s now 11:05 and Kris and Tammy have begun to explore the bar and take readings.  Kris immediately
becomes very cold, while Tammy is comfortable.  At 11:25pm Kris smells lavender by the women’s
bathroom.  Tammy hears somebody in the men’s bathroom.  The EMF detector spiked to 6 for a few
seconds.  (Baseline was 0-2)  Upon investigation, nobody is in the restrooms.  Also during this time,
Tammy’s camera began behaving oddly.  Like the batteries were dead on certain features.  When she
stepped outside, all the problems vanished.

At midnight and the final EVP sessions were conducted.  Dave’s on the roof is outside, nobody was
talking and the town was completely quiet.  Something is heard, but we are unable to make out whom or
what is said.  Downstairs in the main dining room Ann conducted a session with the remainder of the team.
Nothing was obtained here until the session was concluded and Ruth began her dowsing session.  There
are a few possible answers to her questions.  However, as on the roof, the responses are below human
range.  Hence they only indicate a sound that can’t be accounted for.

After the session a family member’s son came running in the room.  He said, “I just saw her, she was all
dressed in white!”  While waiting quietly in the next room between our room and the bar.  He saw a woman
move through the rooms and go into the kitchen.

Summary:
All in all the photographs only revealed “orbs”.  The EVP is inconclusive and can be explained as normal
building creaks.  Almost every member had a physical experience, but the team was aware of this locations
history.  The points of interest would be the EMF spikes, but there was a geomagnetic storm that night.
The temperature was nine degrees higher in front of the ladies room.  We can’t explain this spot of warmth.

There are so many convincing stories at the Willow Steakhouse.  Even though nothing substantial was
uncovered on this visit, that shouldn’t discount the possibility of the Willow Steakhouse as a haunted
location.

API would love to return at a later date, perhaps on July 21, to reevaluate this location.  Or return sooner
to sample the delicious food.
