Rosemont Residence 10/22/05 9:00pm
Investigators: Dave, Michael, Sabrina
Background: The individuals currently residing at the Rosemont residence contacted AP Investigations requesting an investigation of their private residence. The current residents, as well as a former resident, reported unusual activity within the home. The unusual activity was described as unexplained noises, shadows, and feeling a “presence” in the home.
Investigation: The team began a preliminary overview of the home. Michael took pictures of the inside of the home, as well as the outside (front and back yard). Sabrina completed her own assessment of the home, gathering intuitive information and feelings about the residence. As the Sensitive, Sabrina has no background information about the residence or the reports by the home owners. Dave performed his assessment of the residence to determine where the video equipment should be set up for further investigative work with Sabrina. An API member also conducted an EVP assessment, using a digital audio recorder. Another API member recorded temperature changes in the environment to assess unusual temperature spikes. This process occurred from 9:00pm – 10:15pm.
At 10:15pm, all individuals gathered in the living room, where the Sensitives were to begin their process of the investigation. It was determined from all investigators that the living room was the most appropriate place for the video recording of the Sensitives’ assessment, as they determined the source of the activity was focused in this room. All the video equipment was established and prepared for recording. With the lights and ventilation shut down, Sabrina began her investigation of the house.
The following is an overview from the Sensitive: Little girl, at first not sure if girl or boy, but I think girl. Short haircut. 7-8 ish. Sandy brown hair. Also a couple. Not sure if related to little girl. Husband and wife? The little girl, Jessica, said her dad had died. Left her and her mom alone. This guy is an asshole. In the master bedroom, he yells at her (the grown woman, no name given, she cries a lot. She’s inconsolable.) In the living area, adjacent to the kitchen and sliding glass door to the outside, next to the fireplace she holds her face in her hands when she yells. Time frame World War Two. Maybe Jessica’s father died in the war, hung himself after the war. Mother had a nervous breakdown? She (Jessica), wanted to show me something in the garage. She was pulling me (as I stood outside, on the side of the house). 15 feet or 20 feet back from the front gate. Jessica told me her name… I thought I saw a face in Brian’s daughter’s bedroom window as we first approached the house. A face in the garage.
Following this process, which lasted from 10:15pm to 12:00am, Sabrina consulted with the home owners to discuss the process that had occurred. After, everyone took a break from the process. Dave stepped outside with one of the home owners and his friend to discuss the events that occurred. The home owner disclosed that he has been scratched several times since living in the home, but has not told anyone until now. When the group reconvened, an API member, who was still gathering information on the home, asked the home owner about someone in the home being scratched. The home owner disclosed to the group, including his partner, that he was scratched in the past. He added that no one knew about this until tonight when he disclosed it to Dave. He added that an API member was in the house during this disclosure.
The investigation concluded at 1:00am.
