Summary:
The investigation began with a group walk through of the RECORDS basement area. R. interviewed S.
about the history of the building while the other crew members scouted out the basement.
The sensitives had contacted three spirits at previously: a little girl ‘Samantha’, a young man in his teens, and
an older male. An API sensitive had received the greatest amount of communication from the little girl.
Samantha had lived around the late 19th early 20th century. Her parents had been guests at the hotel or at
a hotel nearby. Apparently, her family left her at the K street hotel with a woman she didn’t like. The girl
proceeded to develop some type of fever, and died there. She’d gotten stuck possibly because she was
too young to know and understand about being dead, and because she missed her family so much. Michael
communicated primarily with the teenager. The young man had died in the mid-1950s of a gunshot wound to
the head in some nearby alley. He’d gotten stuck possibly because he was angry about what happened to
him. Not much was known about the 3rd spirit.
A camera was set up toward the front-end of the basement where the little girl had appeared. The API
sensitive said that in her vision she saw Samantha spelling her name out in the sand, so investigators set up
some small tiles with letters on them on the floor to see if Samantha would spell her name for the camera.
Michael and Sabrina walked through to the back-end of the basement to see who else might be hanging
out there. Michael immediately picked up on the teenager’s spirit. The young man seemed upset that some of
the lights were being turned on. Michael suggested to Sabrina that the young man liked staying in the dark.
The two decided to head upstairs for a group meditation before going deeper into spirit communication.
Upstairs M., and S. engaged in a number of visualization exercises designed to strengthen their individual
auras and peace of mind. Psychics who are not centered when the engage in spirit communication may be
overwhelmed by the emotional energy of the beings they connect with, which can wreak havoc on a psychic’s
sense of well-being.
They focused on aligning their individual energies to the energies of heaven and earth. This practice
sensitizes the spirit body to energy in general, but also heals and strengthens the spirit body, so that any
negative energy the psychics brought in with them is released, and so that the space that contained the
negativity is cleansed and filled with light.
They practiced concentrating high frequency energy in their individual auras. High frequency energy is the
energy of love and good will. It is called high frequency energy because of the speed at which the energy
vibrates. The higher vibrational frequency makes it difficult for negative emotions to cling to the aura, while
sharpening the perception of negative energies in general. The high frequency energy literally ‘sheds more
light’ on the situation, which makes it easier to determine the source and/or cause of negative energy as it
arises.
They meditated on the intent of the investigation which was basically, to help the spirits who were stuck
there.
They asked for assistance from their personal spiritual guides, following the belief that there are a number
of intelligences in the universe that are benign and willing (if not eager) to assist with the spiritual transitions
human beings make. Helping beings liberate themselves from past earthly lives is one of the many types of
human spiritual transitions.
Some orbs were caught on film but not many, and not with the clarity of the visit at Joe’s house.
RECORDS’ energy is chaotic and violent. Many people who’ve passed on have gathered there. Some
are flood victims, others, like ‘Samantha’, died of fever. Another presence appeared, a man with sanity issues,
possibly a derelict who’d passed away in an alley nearby. A number of other spirits hinted at their presences.
