History and Recent Unexplained Activity: The house was built in 1948. There have been three
families who have occupied the home during that time. The area was said to have been inhabited by the Miwok
Indian Tribe and burial grounds are known to run under the main street to the river.
Reason for Investigation: A friend of the homeowner contacted API to investigate to see if their friend
who had died near the property years ago was still there, and if so, they wanted to help him cross over.
Summary: We arrived at this large home at 8 p.m. Due to the size of the location, we had to spend more time
than usual with the individual tasks. Temperature and EMF readings were taken throughout the home, while
Ann took numerous photos of the residence and the investigation. Gary was attempting to provide some
debunking information and had the dubious task of sketching this large home. Jason arrived at the residence
later to complete his walkthrough. Much of the investigation took longer than expected, as we investigated
not only the inside of the home, but also the surrounding property as well. The family’s friend had died in a car
accident at the corner of the property years ago, so we attempted to see if any information could be collected
outside as well. The team took a break and discussed their initial findings and plan for the EVP and dowsing
sessions. Dave attempted to set up the DVR system but was having system issues and it was not working
properly. Several EVP and dowsing sessions were conducted by both Ann and Jason throughout the
home. Once we finished, we packed up and left the residence.
Findings: A lot of temperature and EMF readings were obtained throughout the home. Temperature
readings were steady throughout the home with an average temperature of 78 degrees. EMF readings,
however, were a little above average. The lowest reading was at 0.0, while the high buried the meter. Due to
the large amount of power that was supplied through the home, these readings are more than likely due to the
wiring in the home. Several of the sensitives on the team, either functioning as sensitives or not, could detect
the presence of the young male who died and provided descriptions of him. Each sensitive at one time or
another sensed a large number of animals outside in the stable, including horses, lions, bobcats, bears,
raccoons, etc. which each sensitive did not understand until the homeowner explained that these animals were
kept there at one point or another. During the dowsing session, the team attempted to assist the young man
with crossing over, but he was very stubborn and did not want to do so. Several members of the team agreed
to come back at a later date to attempt again to help him cross over.
Follow Up: Four members did meet prior to the homes scheduled demolition to attempt to help the young
man find peace.
