Investigation Date:  March 10, 2007

Location:  Rocklin, CA

Present:  Dave, Ann, Amy, and Michelle

Reason for Investigation:  The homeowner contacted API due to concerns about visual
apparitions, foul odors, audible moaning late at night, frequent power surges, and stationary cold spots.

Summary:  The team arrived at the residence at 8 p.m. and completed introductions.  While the rest of
the team conducted the scientific portion of the investigation, Dave spent some time with the homeowner
to discuss in more detail her concerns and fears.  We spent a lot of time talking about taking ownership of
her home and not allowing the events that are occurring to make her feel powerless.  Once the team was
finished with the scientific portion of the investigation, we took a break and prepared for the dowsing
sessions and EVP sessions.  We did not have a sensitive for this investigation so we decided to focus on
the scientific information gathered to see if we could verify any of the homeowner’s claims.  Ann set up for
the EVP and dowsing sessions while Michelle video recorded the sessions.  The homeowner was able to
ask some questions during the sessions as well.
Photography and video did not reveal anything.  EVP did pick up a voice while nobody was within
earshot on the back hill.  Michelle was being touched in a way that made her feel very uncomfortable at the
time.  Since the session was outside and other houses were nearby, we cannot consider this a pure EVP.

Findings:  The team did not notice any significant temperature or EMF spikes during the scientific
investigation.  The dowsing sessions were intriguing because Dave’s deceased uncle had made contact
during the session and was affecting the dowsing rods significantly.  Ann picked up on him and we asked
him to assist with the rest of the sessions.  The EVP recorded an audible phrase him.  Amy, Michelle, and
Ann recorded another phrase from an unseen person while Michelle was being touched by invisible
fingers.  Unfortunately, it was outside and must be considered contaminated due to the distance of the
neighbors’ homes.
