Location: Private Residence in Citrus Heights, CA
Present: Dave, Ann, Jason, Caren, Michelle, Kristine, Melanie, and Dave's mother.
Unexplained Activity and History: Built in 1978, the house has not been blessed by the current
owners. About 2 months ago the kitchen floor was pulled up and is still being replaced. The prior owners
lived in the home for 5 years, before that, unknown.
After about two months inside the home, the first event happened. The 4 year old was standing at the top
of the stairs and mom standing in the kitchen. The son was pushed down the stairs and landed in the side
rails.
Recent event highlights include all family members having heard their names when in the bathrooms. The
father has seen a full large figure walking downstairs. The whole family at different times of day have heard
heavy footsteps on the stairway and upstairs. Other family witness include friends of a son that had a plate
fly at him.
While in the same tub the towel began moving without explanation. There was no vent or window. The cell
phone on several occasions is found off the charger and behind the dresser. A heavy shampoo bottle came
of a wide ledge horizontally at her, hitting the mother while in the bathroom.
CD’s, books, and a plate flew straight off the shelf toward a son. Other things move around the same son’
s room regularly and are too many to remember.
Upstairs, on the way down, the father saw a full large figure of a man with brown hair turn the corner toward
his son’s room. He was solid, but did not hear anything. In the night, a figure with no head was sitting in bed
next to her the mother.
The Investigation:
The team arrived at 9:00pm to begin the scientific portion of the investigation. They spit into two groups,
one for the downstairs and one for the upstairs. Duplicate readings where taken on a double blind basis of
the entire residence. Dramatic temperature changes at 9:40pm were a 73 to 84 degree spike in an upstairs
bedroom. At this time EMF spiked from a baseline of 0.1-0.2 to 2.4-2.5 and back again. This same event
repeated with the second group at a later time.
Photographs showed an identical orb taken at two different times upstairs. There were several possible
orbs around the stairs on the preliminary interview and the investigation.
At 10:00pm the sensitives arrived at one began upstairs and the other downstairs. After they finished
each level, the team continued the investigation.
Around 11:00pm Ann and Kristine in bathing suits started the upstairs shower to investigate the family’s
reports of hearing their name once in the shower. An Olympus digital recorder was placed on the counter
and they conducted an EVP session from inside the shower, with it running. On the recorder a man’s voice
is heard and breathing throughout the session. At one point the hot water felt ice cold, just as the family
had reported.
After drying off, we proceeded to an EVP and dowsing session downstairs at 12:30am. There is a
recording on the EVP of a different origin obtained here.
Research Highlights:
The identical look of two distinctive orbs were of interest. EVP from two different sources upstairs and
downstairs help verify the family’s events. Also of note is the focus about the stairway by the team. The
team did not know the family’s concern about the stairway being a focal point of activity.
