An Interview with Ana Marie: 1. What interested you in the paranormal? I don’t think there has ever been at time when I was interested in ghosts and hauntings. I was the kid that would walk through a graveyard at midnight on a dare or visit the “haunted” house on a whim. I find the field fascinating. 2. How are you treated in public when people realize that you are a paranormal investigator? Actually my friends, coworkers and family think it is pretty cool. 3. Have you ever had anybody react to what you do negatively? No 4. What do you do when you aren't investigating? Work (a lot these days), read, listen to music, work on my ’68 mustang and hang out with my hubby doing married couple stuff. 5. What investigation sticks out in your mind? I can’t wait to go out on my first investigation so I can have one that sticks out in my mind. 6. Have you had any unexplained experiences? I have had a few weird things happen. Having a mother who is a medium tends to make life a bit interesting when you are growing up. 7. What skills do you bring to API? I have a background in investigations (I wanted to be an FBI agent and chase Hannibal Lecter) so I bring the Joe Friday “just the facts” mentality. 8. What do you want to get out of your experience with API? I want to be involved in helping a family recognize that the spirits that may be hanging out in their home are pretty much harmless and to live in harmony with them I guess. I would be lying if I didn’t say I want to see a ghost, have someone else there that can verify, “yep that was a ghost”. 9. How does your family feel about your investigations? They think it is awesome. 10. Do you enjoy being an investigator? What a kick in the pants! |
